tradition. Reporting
to the Specialist, Microbiology, Quality, your responsibilities will include: Responsibilities: ·
Compiles, enters, statistically processes, and statistically analyzes
data collected as part of the plant environmental monitoring (EM) program. ·
Prepares and submits reports / graphs to represent EM data, trends,
issues / opportunities, or as needed (i.e. management review). ·
Tracks and reports key performance indicators for the EM program (# of
OAL / OAC, # and time to complete EM investigations, etc). ·
Performs a detailed and documented review (abbreviated investigation) of
all OAL / OAC encountered, per corporate and local regulatory requirements.
Reviews trends, problem solves, communicates and reports technical information
related to the environmental monitoring (EM) program. Participates in the
assessment and in tracking status/progress of associated corrective actions. ·
Participates, with subject matter expert(s), to EM in-depth
investigations (includes analysis of recent microbiological data for trending, review of
subsequent testing and characterization of the isolate(s), records review,
sample site review, review of the mechanical systems, etc), to determine root
cause / probable cause, and appropriate corrective action. ·
Participates in improvement projects, and manage changes related to the
environmental monitoring (EM) program. Provides technical support in regards to
the environmental monitoring (EM) program, procedures and forms. Qualifications:

University or college degree in biostatistics
or statistics (combined with a B.Sc. in Microbiology would be an asset) ·
Must demonstrate proficiency in computerized systems, and master
mathematical concepts / statistical analysis. ·
Must have excellent typing abilities, and knowledge of MS Excel, Access,
and Power Point application software. ·
Knowledge of the industry, Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices
(GMP & GLP), sterile manufacturing and environmental monitoring. ·
Must demonstrate ability to understand and follow written procedures and
regulations. ·
Must be self-motivated, utilize good judgment in making decisions,
demonstrate adaptability, initiative, innovation, integrity, teamwork and drive
for results. ·
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral; ·
Must be able to handle multiple duties and projects at the same time,
and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. ·
Bilingualism (French and English) is essential, written and spoken. ·
Two to three (2 - 3) years of experience in a similar position within
the pharmaceutical or health care industry. ·
Laboratory work experience is an asset. Interested candidates are
