1.  Quality Control Director

Position

Responsible for a multi-functional QC organization that focus on raw materials, in-process, release and stability testing of our pharmaceutical products. 
This is the senior QC position responsible for support of production, and will be required to provide quality leadership and direction to departmental and facility based management teams. 
The position will be empowered to develop team roles and responsibilities, set strategy and vision for teams and departments, manage team dynamics, and provide leadership to develop direct reports.  
This position has an experienced managerial staff reporting into it and a large unionized technical staff. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Quality Control.
Direct Reports: 1 Associate Director, 5 Managers, 8 Supervisors, 2 Coordinators

Technical staff:  ~ 65-70, Budget: 9.4M ($CDN)

Candidate

This individual should be a recognized expert in the Quality Control field with the ability to evaluate and meet regulatory and industry policies. 
Experience and expertise in general pharmaceutical/biologics/vaccine quality control fields that are required to meet the expectations of Health Canada and the FDA. 
Good experience working with commercialized or at least phase III product 
The candidate must drive quality systems and champion innovation and technological improvements.


2.  QC Associate Director 

               
DETAILLED DESCRIPTION  

1.      Supervises the documentation coordinator and the documentation program.  

2.      Supervises the stability coordinator and the relevant stability and standard programs used in QC.  

3.      Supervises the trainer coordinator and the specific QC training programs.  

4.      Responsible for the follow-up and  timelines of the program.

5.      Responsible for other critical projects when necessary.

6.      Performs all related tasks.

Reports to Director, Quality Control

Bachelors degree required, Masters a bonus

Training, documentation, and stability experience

10+/- year's experience
